The Ocean City Lady Knights Auxiliary may take a break from regular meetings during July and August, but our commitment to service continues throughout the summer.
During both July and August, members of the Auxiliary joined our Brother Knights each Tuesday evening to assist with their Seafood Knights fundraiser.
We are grateful to every Lady Knight who gave her time during one of the busiest seasons of the year in Ocean City.
Whether preparing and serving food, welcoming guests, cleaning up, helping behind the scenes, or simply stepping in wherever another pair of hands was needed, each volunteer played a part in supporting the charitable work of Knights of Columbus Council #9053.
More Than a Meeting
Our summer service is a wonderful reminder that membership in the Lady Knights is about much more than attending a monthly meeting.
It is about putting faith into action.
Throughout the year, our members serve in many different ways. Some volunteer regularly, while others step forward when their schedules permit. Some prefer working behind the scenes, while others enjoy greeting and serving people.
Every contribution matters.
The time and talents shared by our members allow us to support our Brother Knights while also extending the charitable mission we share throughout our parishes and community.
A New Year of Service Begins
September marks the beginning of our 2026–2027 Auxiliary year, and with it come new opportunities to serve.
Our first meeting will be held Monday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Columbus Hall.
As we gather again, we invite every member to bring her ideas.
What needs do you see in our community?
Where might the Lady Knights make a difference?
Is there a project you would enjoy helping lead?
Is there a new way we could serve together?
Our Auxiliary is strongest when each woman recognizes that she has something meaningful to contribute.
And perhaps you know another Catholic woman who would enjoy contributing alongside us.
Bring Someone With You
This September, we especially encourage our members to invite a friend, neighbor, fellow parishioner, or other Catholic woman who may be interested in learning more about the Ocean City Lady Knights Auxiliary.
Invite her to attend our September meeting with you.
Let her meet the women.
Let her see the fellowship.
And let her discover the many ways we put our Catholic faith into action through service.
Sometimes the beginning of years of friendship and service is as simple as one person saying:
“Would you like to come with me?”
